Rawalpindi District Polio Eradication Committee meeting was held at DCO Office Rawalpindi on 28th February, 2013. DCO Rawalpindi chaired the meeting which was attended by Government Health Department Officials, Representatives of different departments and President Rotary Club Rawalpindi Rtn. Nosherwan Khalil Khan. Polio NID 4-6 March 2013 was discussed in the meeting and it was decided that all the departments should work closely and deploy staff for proper vaccination. So far three samples from the past three months have shown negative result for polio virus and the District team is very much on-course for a Polio Free District.
