Darakhshan Visit - RC Rawalpindi

Members of Rotary Club Rawalpindi (President Nosherwan Khalil Khan, DGE Iftikhar Ahmed, Secretary Tariq Mehmood Akhter, PE Rashid Mashkoor, PP Nadeem Iqbal, PP Haroon Sulaiman, PN Khan Abdul Mannan, Rtn. Farheen Choudhary, Rtn. Murad Khan, Rtn. Wasim Riaz, Rtn. Maria Greaty) visited Darakhshan Resource and Training Center for Disabled Women, A.R.L. Morgah, Rawalpindi to deliver Wheel Chairs and Braille Paper to the disabled women on Saturday 23rd February 2013. Wheel Chairs were donated by PP Rtn. Nadeem Iqbal Khokhar and Rtn. Waseem Riaz Malik, Braille paper by Rtn. PE Rashid Mashkoor while Rtn. Murad Khan donated cash to Darakhshan. The aim was to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity and well-being of persons with disabilities. Members had a look at the great work the disabled women are doing in the vocational Training Center. Hats Off to Capt. Maqbool and Zanib Mughal for doing an outstanding work for the disabled women. Thanks to the Darakhshan Administration for such a great event and special thanks to Mr & Mrs. Col. (R) Rasheed Mughal for their support.
