Polio Awareness Workshop was organised by Rotary Club of Rawalpindi in collaboration with Commnet UNICEF at Crystal Lines Travels Bus Terminal Pirwadhai, Rawalpindi on Saturday 6th September 2014. Rtn. Abdul Mannan Khan President RC Rawalpindi was the Chief Guest. Rtn. Khushnud ul Hassan, Rtn. Syed Aftab Zaidi and Rtn. Nosherwan Khalil Khan were present at the occasion.

Malik Aamir Iqbal, District Head Communication and Support Officer Commnet UNICEF and Fiaz ur Rehman Union Council Communication and Support Officer Ward 9 Commnet UNICEF represented UNICEF.

The audience were Bus Drivers, Mechanics, Ticketing Staff, Bus Cleaners and Passengers. The speakers urged the audience to spread the message of giving two drops of polio vaccine to children to protect from this crippling disease. President Rtn. Abdul Mannan Khan thanked the audience and briefed how a common man can play its part in Polio Eradication.
