
The Rotary Club of Rawalpindi held its regular meeting on 6 July 2026 at Conference Room 3, Pearl Continental Hotel, The Mall Road, Rawalpindi. The meeting was presided over by the President, Aftab Ahmed Zaidi, and members gathered to recognise a year of dedicated service and to look ahead to the club's upcoming activities.
The club placed on record its gratitude to the Immediate Past President and the Past Secretary for their dedicated service during the Rotary year 2025 to 2026. As a token of appreciation, the President presented souvenirs to both officers in recognition of their valuable contributions to the club.
Members reviewed the club's ongoing service agenda. A handpump service project was discussed for the club's consideration, reflecting a continued focus on practical projects that bring clean water and real benefit to the wider community. The club is also exploring new collaborations in the field of education to broaden the reach and impact of its community work.
Members were further encouraged to take part in the CLLS scheduled for 11 July 2026, continuing the club's commitment to learning, fellowship, and active participation in the wider Rotary movement.
The club is preparing for its Installation Ceremony, scheduled for 18 July 2026. Members are warmly encouraged to attend and to mark the date, as the ceremony is an important milestone in the Rotary calendar and a moment of renewal for the club. A formal invitation with full details will be circulated shortly.
The meeting reflected the spirit of the Rotary theme for 2026 to 2027, Create Lasting Impact, as the Rotary Club of Rawalpindi begins a new year of fellowship, leadership, and service to the community.
