Seminar on “Disability & Workforce”

Members of Rotary Club of Rawalpindi participated in a Seminar on “Disability & Workforce” at the auditorium of Al-Farabi Special Education Centre on December 22, 2010 at 10 am.  The Seminar was organized by Monthly Pakistan Special and had a participation of around 400.  Monthly Pakistan Special has been providing coverage to events and activities of Rotary International District 3272 this year. The Seminar highlighted issues like rights, laws and barriers faced by workforce after becoming disabled during jobs in factories or as a result of war against terror.

Deputy Governor Iftikhar Ahmed, President Muzzammil Ahmed Zahid, Rtn. Nosherwan Khalil Khan and other members participated in the seminar. They informed the participants about Rotary International’s role in polio eradication. They distributed Rotary Polio caps, T-shirts, badges and pencils among the special children.  They also sponsored refreshments for the special children and participants of the Seminar.
